It is Lone Star Roofing & Gutter's recommendation that roofs older than 5 years should have a professional inspect their roof at least once a year.  The professional will walk the roof, make minor necessary repairs, and clean debris from the roof surface and gutters. Homeowners who have a heavy tree population should have professional maintenance twice a year, usually during the spring and fall.
