Seamless Gutters

Do you have existing gutters in need of replacement? Or, do you have a new home and are looking for seamless gutters?

Call Today

Rain gutter installation is essential to protecting your home.

Are you contemplating new gutter installation or gutter system replacement on your property?   Schedule a free consultation estimate with Lone Star Roofing & Gutters for valuable recommendations and a competitive bid.

A Seamless Performance

Here are four reasons why Lone Star Roofing & Gutters recommends seamless gutters.

1. No seams, no snags.

The key word with gutters is "flow." When leaves, twigs, and other bits of debris become snagged in the seams of traditional gutters, then they catch other pieces of debris until you have a full-stop dam in your gutters. With seamless gutters, there are far fewer snag points.

2. Less maintenance.

Gutters are designed to carry their own weight and an average amount of rainwater. When bits of debris become trapped between joined sections, this soggy mess of decomposing organic material can weigh as much as an average size adult hanging on your gutters — day in, day out, until they are cleaned.

With fewer joints and no seams, LSR&G gutters have much less buildup and no sags, making them all the easier to maintain.

3. Reduced Risk of Leaks.

When a homeowner sees water spots on their ceiling they will often assume there is a hole somewhere in the roof. But, the most likely culprit is a leaky or overflowing gutter dripping water through the eaves. By going seamless, the risk of leaks forming is greatly reduced.

4. Longevity.

Since seamless gutters are not saddling the weight of leaves, and organic debris, there is less warpage, and that means a longer-lasting gutter system. Plus, LSR&G uses premium materials that last longer and are more reliable.

We Deliver a Seamless Customer Experience

Get your gutters done now – before the next rain causes more problems. The primary purpose of a gutter system is to prevent water damage and protect the value of your home investment long-term.

Wood rot, siding damage, roof leaks, foundation problems, soil erosion, interior wall damage, flooding, mold and mildew, and even mosquito infestations are some of the reasons to install gutters.

A great gutter installation requires a quality product, experienced installers, and a reliable warranty. Lone Star Roofing & Gutters offers this and more at affordable pricing.

SIZE OF SEAMLESS ALUMINUM GUTTERS

A 5-inch seamless aluminum gutter is widely used in some areas of the country however, 6-inch gutters and 7-inch gutters are becoming increasingly popular.

The differences between 5-inch, 6-inch, and 7-inch gutters are their size, and the capacity of water they can hold. In cases where you often experience heavy rainfall and rainwater continually overshooting your gutter system, a 6" or 7″ gutter system may be the best for your home.

In addition to climate; the roofline, surface area, and pitch of your roof are important factors in determining whether to install a 5", 6", or 7" gutter system. Interchanging two different sizes of gutter within the same gutter system can also be a cost-effective solution for areas of your home needing higher capacity.

Can my old gutters be fixed?

In most cases, plastic or vinyl gutters cannot be repaired. We recommend replacement using a metal seamless gutter system that won’t leak and will last for years to come.

Do your gutters need gutter repair?

A good indication your gutters are old if they are:

  • Installed with spike and ferrule
  • Showing significant exterior color fade
  • Have seams along the run of the gutter

Often we arrive at a job to check on repairs and we realize the client needs a gutter installation instead. If your gutters are leaking at the seams it may be time to update to seamless gutters. If your gutters were installed with spike and ferrule, this means they are likely 20 years old and you could also potentially have rotting fascia.

Obvious warning signs of failing gutters:

  • Gutter hanging off the home – may need a gutter replacement
  • Downspout disconnected from gutter or home
  • Water in basement
  • Water in home
  • Seams leaking or dripping
  • Overflowing gutters – may just need a gutter cleaning

Subtle warning signs of failing gutters

  • Spike & ferrules pulling away from the gutter where you can see the nail head popping out.
  • Lines in your landscape below the gutter.
  • Mold in areas below where gutters are or should be
  • Rotting deck boards, windowsills, garage doors, and regular doors below where gutters are or should be.
  • Erosion in landscape or mulch beds.
  • Cracking or upheaval of sidewalks, patios, driveways, and stairs.
  • Paint is flaking or peeling prematurely in areas near the base of the home.
  • Dips or back pitch in gutters.

Protect your home from water damage.
